4th of July Celebrations
(In and Around Nassau County)
4th of July is quickly approaching -- many of us will be spending the day with family & friends, please be safe and enjoy as we honor the birthday of the U S of A!
Here is a listing of fireworks, music, and parades around (weather permitting):
June 30th - Nautical Mile Fireworks - Freeport - 8:30pm.
July 1st - Downtown Sounds - Veterans Concert w/ the Patriot Brass Band at the Village Square in Glen Cove - 7:30pm.
July 2nd - Annual Fireworks on the Great Lawn - East Hills - 9pm.
July 2nd - TD Bank’s Celebrate America Fireworks & Show - Harry Chapin Theater - Eisenhower Park - East Meadow - 5pm - 10pm.
July 3rd - Morgan Park Summer Music Festival - Glen Cove - 7:30pm.
July 4th - 1861 Independence Day Celebration at Old Bethpage Village Restoration - 10am - 4pm. Parade and Ceremony will begin at 2:30pm.
July 4th - Glen Cove Annual Children’s Bike Parade - Bikes, scooters, wagons, strollers and battery-powered vehicles will roll down the streets at 10 a.m. from Finley Middle School to downtown Glen Cove to the Village Square For the bike contest, winners in three categories (Most Patriotic, Most Original and Best Group) will be recognized with special prizes and acknowledgement by Mayor Spinello. All children are invited to participate.
July 4th - Northwinds Symphonic Band performs at Morgan Memorial Park - Glen Cove - 7:30pm. Fireworks by Grucci - Morgan Memorial Park - Glen Cove - 9:15pm.
July 4th - Freeport Fireworks - Seabreeze Park (Woodcleft Avenue) - 8:30pm.
July 4th - Independence Day Parade - Massapequa Park - 11 a.m. on Lake Shore Drive at Walker Street and continue south onto Park Boulevard through the Village to Front Street.
July 4th - Jones Beach Fireworks Spectacular - 9:30pm.
July 4th - Fireworks Display at Firemen’s Memorial Field - Valley Stream - 9pm.
July 8th - Fireworks Extravaganza - Long Beach - Riverside Blvd Beach - 8pm.
July 9th - Fireworks by Grucci - Mill River Park - Rockville Centre - 9:15pm.
July 12th - Town of Oyster Bay’s Music Under the Stars & Grucci Fireworks - John Burns Park, Massapequa - 7:30pm (music) / 9:45pm (fireworks)
