Have you created a Bucket List for Summer?

I thought I would give you some ideas to keep you busy this summer for those that are spending summer at home. Make sure to read my article about our local libraries that have so much to do each week and it's free! I have several listing in the article of what's going on and some of the events don't require registrations. 


Also on the list for the summer:

  • Jones Beach Bandshell (free concerts every day!)
  • Eisenhower Park has noontime concerts, concerts at night, movies at dusk and more. (Check the calendar or click HERE)
  • $1 Movies Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Regal Cinemas- Deer Park and Farmingdale Locations. 10 AM Starting July 1st for 9 weeks.
  • Barnes & Nobles Storytimes (listed on event calendar)
  • Disney Store in Hicksville has events everyday
  • Belmont Racetrack has lots of family fun events
  • Long Island Children’s Museum
  • Cradle of Aviation Museum
  • Bowling! Check out all the specials going on each week.
  • Check out different Macaroni Kid sites to see the specials in their area and take a road trip out East or even into the city or Westchester!
  • Legoland in Westchester
  • Bronx Zoo
  • New York Botanical Gardens
  • Summer short camps with Bricks 4 Kidz- Check out their website... 
  • Le Play Cafe on rainy day or even on a day it's too hot to play outside!
  • Day camps at The Little Gym in Levittown.  Must see their website and facebook page!
