Welcome Spring! I'm hoping for the warmer weather to kick in before Saturday's Eggstravaganza at Fraser Park! I'll be there- so make sure to say "Hello" to me! I'll be working over the next few days to fill up the April calendar. Make sure to check your local library and even some of the neighboring ones. There are many events going on during the break and if you aren't lucky enough to go away- keep the kids entertained for free!! I'll be posting some fun activities and you can also always look back in the archives to find more.
Check out the calendar for the local egg hunts - I will add more as I find them. We also have a great parenting series at Le Play Cafe with Erika Stroh, MA, Educator/Parent Life Coach. A great discussion for parents to join in when there are so many issues that we face.

And can you believe it---it's time to start thinking about SUMMER CAMP! I will be compiling all the great camps in our area and welcome any camp directors to contact me if you would like to be put into our guide. I'm already excited that my daughter will be attending Wee Friends this summer. Check it out and tell them MacKid sent you! Besides all the soccer camps and academic camp my son will be doing- he'll be playing with his friends at Camp Iconic! Again, check it out! I've heard all good things about it and can't wait for him to have fun! I'm also excited to say that my kids will be doing Reading Rocks this summer too. Got to get them ready for the school year!
