ELIJA (Empowering Long Island’s Journey through Autism) Foundation to host 13th Annual Two-Day Conference, Thursday and Friday, December 5 and 6
Levittown, NY – At the upcoming 13th Annual Long Island Behavior Analysis Conference (LIBAC), special education teachers, school personnel, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professionals, have the opportunity to earn up to 15.5 CE’s while gathering and sharing information, listening to amazing presenters and speakers, and attending interactive workshops and panel discussions.
Parents living with students with Autism will also benefit greatly from this two-day conference, sponsored by the ELIJA (Empowering Long Island’s Journey through Autism) Foundation, at Hofstra University, in the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, on Thursday and Friday, December 5 and 6. If you are new, or looking to expand your knowledge, network with your peers, and enhance your professional skills, then this conference is definitely for you!
LIBAC once again features a unique lineup of presenters, interactive workshops, and panel discussions led by experts in their respective fields. We are excited to announce that the keynote speaker on Friday morning will be Kaelynn Partlow, star of the hit Netflix series “Love on the Spectrum.” Kaelynn, an autism therapist and advocate, will cover Autism tips for professionals and parents, goal selection in Autism treatment, employment, higher education, and practical advice for improving the field of ABA.
Kaelynn was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 10. As a teen, she joined Project Hope Foundation’s school program and was later hired in 2015 as a Registered Behavior Technician. Now a Lead Technician, Kaelynn provides services to elementary and middle school clients, while helping to develop staff training content.
Learn about how Kaelynn has amplified her impact as a speaker, author, and social media influencer, reaching millions worldwide in her mission for autism advocacy. Individual tickets for non-attendees can be purchased separately for Kaelynn’s 45-minute speech only.
